Decoy weight molds?

    Those are the best hunting days for us. It has nothing to do with being a better man than anyone else. I'm scared of heights, don't like driving across bridges or flying in air planes but have no problem going out in a boat with it blowing 30-40 mph. I have worked and hunted on the sounds here all my life and I feel confident enough in myself and my gear to go when a lot people won't and shouldn't go. But I will not go by myself if it is blowing that hard and don't take anyone that is hesitant about going.

    I will vouch for duckn's-work. :p I got some J-weight molds, top quality. You can't buy better, anywhere. They are factory perfect.

    Cooking oil burns nicely when molten lead comes in contact with it. Wood chars badly when it comes in contact with molten lead. Machined aluminum is the best mold material, since it conducts heat from the lead very quickly and speeds up the casting process.
