    People are too impressed by correlations. If we looked at graphics of the growth go paved parking in the South Bay we would conclude that pavement is what's killing off the fishery.

    I did catch and release salmon fishing on the Klamath last year. I caught them, and the wife released them into jars. They did have a hard time swimming from the shelf back to the river though. :dv

    That is essentially what they are doing when the allow the sale of air pollution credits.

    And the Delta Protection Commission voted against the tunnel project although this will be dismissed as this is not the chosen commission to lead the Delta to the promised land with increasing fish numbers, record delivery of water to the south and a basket of fruits and nuts in every household.

    Having served on the Delta Protection Commission for 5 years it's easy to see the politics of that vote.

    Could be another "unholy alliance" in the making with both the big water districts and fishing/enviro interests against the Peripheral Canal so the funding bill goes down.

    When I was on was I on my grandfathers boat in Oregon I saw huge Gill net boats in the Garabaldi Harbor.:tu
