You seem to be missing my point. Dick's is a private business. The government should not force them to sell something to someone. Period.
No one is being denied their 2A right. The plaintiff can buy a gun anywhere else. Besides, nowhere in the 2A does is say anything about age.

If a business can't refuse to sell someone a cake they sure as hell shouldn't be allowed to refuse to sell a gun to someone based on age. That said, they should be allowed to refuse to sell either to anyone for any reason. However, I'm sure the courts will mangle the constitution at will to fit their current PC BS leanings and make it so you can't refuse to sell a cake but can refuse to sell a gun (which is actually an enumerated right).

I am for freedom, the freedom to exercise my constitutional rights. I am not for allowing a business to decide they don't want to sell to 20 year olds, or blacks, or gays, or women, or whatever other restriction they dream up.

Are you for businesses to freely discriminate against gays, blacks, women, or any other minority?

I'm for everyone's freedom, even a business owner's. So yes, a business should be able to sell or refuse to sell to anyone they choose. Let the market decide if that's a good business decision.
For the sake of argument, what do you think would happen to a local coffee shop if they refused to serve black people? What would you do if that shop refused to serve white people?

Will be interesting to see who tries to dignify the case of stupid versus stupid.

Can't rental car companies refuse to rent cars to people under 25?
