    I don't normally brag about this stuff, but since this post is designed for that, I'll join in with the rest: I killed 3 in Mississippi and 1 in Tennessee after I limited here.

    Killing a turkey is worth some bragging. In fact, it's not nearly as fun to get one if there's no one around to listen to the tales of success.

    Got a nice Merriam's Tom at 8 a.m. of my first day hunting; thought it was pretty easy! Then spent the next 3.75 days not filling my second tag--but, got to spend time with my Dad and friends, enjoy some amazing scenery, had a BIG black bear 20' from my blind, deer grazing even closer....it was good living.

    On sunday 5-15-05.In less than ideal conditions.But got 3 weeks to go to fill my second tag and going to help a friend of mine get their fisrt bird.Birds are finally getting hot now..Its going to be a blast the rest of the season...

    Watched 9 longbeards die this season. . . . . limit fer myself and dad and my buddy got to enjoy the success too. :yes

    Only killed one (limit in Michigan), but had a 14 5/8" beard !!! But, only had 5/8" spurs!!! Go figure.
