Digital e-caller

    Has anyone ever used a digital e-caller for snows. I would like to know how well they sound. How they compare to cd and tape units.

    Haven't used one yet but I'm making an MP3 based caller to use this season. The ones available comercially don't put out enough volume - 25w speakers are not enough for me. I like to run at least 4 at 45w each. Its pretty easy to make your own caller - if you want some basic instructions you can check out this site:

    To make a digital caller you need to hook up an mp3 player to a car amp that will take the inputs. Look for something like a 180-200w car amp & you should be in better than good shape.

    I used Foxpro caller this fall and I thought the caller had exceptional volume. Even in the high winds in Sk, Ca.
