Maybe I missed something, but do we?
I think there is certainly ebenfit to it even if it only helps keep the duck hunters forum on topic.
forums are like calls and decoys, you can never have too many
I think it helps with newer folks and people that surf in. They go to the duckhunting forum and see abunch of political stuff, etc and they leave. This way they go to the main forum and see DUCKHUNTING/Hunting threads and stay and participate. If I was a sponsor I'd want this way so duckhunting customers stick around. IMHO
ignore it and it will go away
I'm dissapointed in the decision because I didn't see a problem in the first place. But, it ain't my call. I do notice that on the first page of the main forum there are currently posts about Nascar, Word Association, Mountain Lions, Littering in a state park, birthdays, usernames, antivirus and picture software, Mel Gibson, the NHL, buying domestic products, the NRA and the 3rd richest President. None of it duck-related.
I think most of those posts belong on this forum too.
Yes I think this forum is a good thing.
This is where they put you when they don't want anyone to read your posts. Maybe I'm wrong. I guess time will tell.
What difference does it make?
If you dont like the forum or feel like you don't want to participate; don't come in
