Hello my Alaskan friends...cheers from Oregon. I am hoping to find someone who has or does hunt the Aleutian Islands. I am a huge waterfowl enthusiast and the Aleutian greenwing teal is the only bird missing from my mounted collection. As I raise waterfowl full time its hard to travel and hunt other areas aside from my own local hunting grounds. As we all know its illegal to buy, trade or sell any legally shot migratory waterfowl, however I was hoping to find a fellow enthusiast who would be generous enough to gift me a specimen.

Any help or info would be forever appreciated

    Cheers
    J

What's an alutian greenwing teal? I've shot teal in Cold Bay which is the last mainland before you hit the alutian chain, but these were just your normal everyday greenwing. Which by the way are going to be just a "small brown duck" as many of the teal are gone before they got any color to them.
