    Saxis, Just wondering how your dog is doing? If dog hasn't turned around, I might have a few other ideas (you may have already heard them or considered them already). Was Milo subordinate or dominant to Bailey? That can have some affect on how things are perceived by survivor.

    I really appreciate the followup. I've got great news! Bailey is probably 85% of her "old" self, eating well, fetching, and raising holy hell on occasion. Our vet gave us a diagnosis of something called Addison's. It's a herititary thing that can be brought out by extreme trauma. Well...she's certainly had that. She's on a two types of steroid that seems to have this thing headed the right way. For now, all is good.

    That's great to hear. Hopefully she turns around fully. Suspect she won't need to be on the medications permanently if significant stress is the trigger. Time will tell. Good luck.
