ok guys... I’m getting the thumbs up on a dog.

    1. Male or female?
    2. Any recommended breeders locally (CA)?
    3. Any other tips?

Sex is a personal preference IMO. I like females. Spay them and no worry about heats.

    Third on B and B

Females from the right line hands down...we’re not running AKC Trials.

    Nothing wrong with either.

My female wants love in the house non stop. My 1- 1/2 old male comes in flops down and goes to sleep unless he’s getting a bellie rub. Completely different temperaments.

I’ve only had males until my last dog which is a BLF I don’t think I’ll ever get another male. Waterspook has great dogs.

That’s funny. My female is pretty independent. They’re all different for sure.

    Gender neutral dog?

Couldn’t help myself. There are positives to both. Best advice is to make sure you have certifications. I would add EIC to the usual list.
