My husband and I live with three Griffons:

    Adler-Male-11 yrs
    Berta-Female-9 yrs (my hunting partner)
    Bartos-Male-3 yrs

Berta is the first hunting dog that I have owned and trained by myself. She is one the best partners a novice hunter like myself could have had. She has taught me alot.

That black dog looks a whole lot like his Momma ;)

I hear good things about the Tankster all the time Fraz... You must really be working with him! :tu

This lil girl is his chocolate sister, Abby (and her friend), that lives near D.C.

Well I will tell you what Kimmie, Tank gets a lot of comments about that wavy hair on the top of his back.. I have even had a "discussion  " with someone saying that he is NOT a true pure blooded Lab.. WHat an idiot..

Anyway I miss him a lot and I can't wait to see what this season will take both of us. Thanks again for giving me such a great friend.

    Bill

    ps

:l On the "pureblooded lab" comment... Should have told them he's probably better bred and has more health clearances than they do ;)

Allis has the same lil wave on her back as does quite a few of her offspring... I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better coat on a dog than what she throws (esp when it's 10 or below degrees out!) . Jade's coat is just phenominal. No matter how much she sheds in the Spring it still holds it's "wave"....

    Great pic!

    Kim :)
