Planned on running 16 of the honks this year, money might have me only using 8:eek:

Ahhh well, we'll see how they work, see if this "fewer of a more realistic" decoy theory really works. Past experience has shown it to be true to me, this should really put it to rest for me.

I have always wondered if anyone actually runs a snow spread of just DSD, seeing a field full of 300-500 of those would be crazy. Although for what a snow decoy consists of as far as paint, doesn't seem any more realistic than GHGs snow.

I would love to see Smith start making blue goose decoys, that is where he would shine as far as snows and blues goes.

    No takers so far:cool:

They seem tough to me,.. if that was a real goose instead of a DSD ,....or another decoy it would be in worse shape

A few yrs ago ..... I killed Honks over a spread full of Junk old Big Foots , Carry lights, Higdons and Flambeau Judges ..... In poor shape to say the least but they worked fine ... That was before everyone and their uncle started trying to goose hunt ....... Now that these birds have been educated by so many hunters they are much more weary of decoys .. :yes So I hope the DSD's will help :tu
