The motion system is simple and effective. One thing though...the leg hook on the little bungee does not open up far enough to attach it in the groove on the grommet. Some do, some don't. I thought about opening up the hook but had a better idea. I slid 2 grommets beyond the stake elbow leaving 1/2" space between the two. This will make it easy to hook directly to the stand and not having to put the leg hook into the groove in the grommet in the dark. With two grommets the hook can't slide and the stand will stay attached to the decoy.

Good idea. Are those rubber washers still used to go on the stand up into the body? Like previous models? Never really cared for that. I had to use 2 rubber grommets to hold up the decoy or the rubber grommet would slide up into the body of the decoy

No...the Grommets do not come in contact with the body.

My buddy has waited 4 months ,had to hunt with inferior decoys on the early oppener, hard to believe they killed 45 geese without the new DSD.He ordered 6 dozen spent around 5000.00,I guess you should have to wait as long as it takes if that's all your spending.

I think there is no comparision with any decoy i have every owned including the 1st generation hardcores which are a awesome themselves. Never owned replicas or deception have seen deceptions they are sweet. Replicas look like the real competition to DSD but never saw them here in Ks. Movement is ok on them might could be a little better but no problems to me. DSD decoys changed the way i hunt used to put out huge spreads now only use small spreads from 2 decoys to 48 depending on situation and number of birds we hunt

wow that one really went over your head didn't it. bragging about killing geese during early season, is like bragging about hooking up with your teaching....only you're home schooled.

early geese are easy.......kind of like killing birds in Canada.
