I had my first Duck/ wild casserole in 1968 in Appleton ,Mn.when i went on my first real Duck Hunt near Milan Bridge/Lac a Parle with some new friends--
It was very easy--cut breasts into chunks- sautee till almost done add some chopped celery and onions cook 3-4 min - put everything in a baking dish, no crocks in those days, add a cann of cr of mushroom or Celery soup some milk and cooked wild rice--cook 30 -40 min @ 350 and enjoy- or you can just add duck (raw) to other stuff and bake a bit longer till duck is done.
