Since it has been such duck weather today, I was going back and reading some old posts on here. Everyone getting ready for duck season? I ended up buying a bay boat this year, so no duck boat, but I may look for a pirogue. I would love to get hooked up with some folks this year to do some huntin. Going to get the huntin gear out of storage in october.

    later.

ive killed a many ducks out of a pirogue, unfortunaly i no longer have one, i got 10 years out of my home made one, but have not replaced it... but always remember that on the delta you can have a bad day or a good day, it all depends on the weather and the tides. you can have low tide and 20mph winds and no water:eek: or you can have a great day, and yea they still happen on the delta!!:tu
