Do you realize the *** chewing I got from Susky Gauge for using the word Oakley?

It is no secret! I ran into Jodi, a Nat Geo photographer out there and she has been going there long before the condos were built or the sea wall. Dont forget to mention Great Marsh Park and the Hambrooks Pond! THey give instructions to there at the Blackwater Refuge as well. Thats how I found out about it.

It is funny and amazing what a bag of corn will buy you with these wild ducks.

All in all it's a great place to get some nice shots close up at more than your local Mallards.

Hell, you might even get a DU cover or two...:dv

You guys really crack me up....

I will be waiting patiently to see those covers.... If only these birds would fly like they did several years ago....

That's what I like about this forum, people with a sense of humor and enjoy a bit of 'funning' without taking things too seriously.:tu It's like being in the blind with your best buddies, but with a "G" rating.:dv

The birds are too full of corn to fly like they did years ago. They have been super-sized. :l Besides, not many people can top those cover shots you've supplied to DU. :bow:bow

I will be charging batteries tonight, and packing a lunch for tomorrow. I WANT SOME CAN SHOTS. These Buffleheads, and Mallards are driving me crazy. Time for a change of scenery.
