This will make anyone love duck Duck salad sandwiches skin 3 whole mallards or if in a hurry Chop the wings off and take the breast with the bone on 4 mallards. (can do it with just breasts but it's dryer). Soak in salt water over night. replace the salt water at least once (I've skipped this part. It's ok to skip if you just have the breast with the bone. if you use a whole duck make sure you don't skip this part) Try to clean out the majority of duck organs. Put in a crock pot on high for 5 hours with an onion or two. I cover mine in water. After 5 hours it should fall off the bone. pick the bones clean shread the meat and let it cool. At this point your ready for "Turkey or beef sandwiches" All your friends will love their beef sandwiches. Or place meat back in crock pot with bbq sauce. then serve on buns. Or Mix in 2 cups chopped celery 1 1/2 cups chopped dill pickles/dill relish 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans 6 hard boiled eggs diced up 1 pint mayonnaise lots of black pepper to taste. It takes a lot more than you think. Or at this point ask your wife for her favorite chicken pita recipe. Grapes, crazins, razins, nuts, miricle whip/manaize, apples, dill pickles, boiled eggs celery, Pepper etc. . . No one will complain.
