Duck trip

    Hey guys I'm taking a duck trip I leave Xmas day I usually end up hunting in idaho but with the warm weather things are just not freezing up so I was looking at the Yellowstone river around billings but open to ideas I have a 16foot boat with a 29 HP mud buddy I'm just wondering is the river froze up or still audible any info help and open to ideas thanks again and merry Christmas

    Negative temps all week. I wouldn't bet on open water.

    BUT, I hope you get into em. Somebody needs to.

    Not that it helps much, but I came through Great Falls last week. River was wide open, but there were not many ducks. Lots of Goldeneyes, and a Metric Ton of geese, but very few ducks.
