We have been working on plasma cutting all of boat parts for a while now. We have employed a Naval Engineer Architect. Hal Whitacre is out of Annapolis, Md. and has a wealth of experience.

We will be having all of our boats except the Back Water series all plasma cutted. We are excited to be able to move the company in this direction. The idea of having a Naval Architect design your next boat is now a reality.

Here is a picture of Naval Architect Hal Whitacre standing over the parts of the Ocean 18.

We started 1/2 day to assemble the frames, stringers, transom, bulkheads and shelves.

Day 2: We installed the hull and the side skins. We welded the keels, ice breaker, and outside keel edges and rolled the boat over at the end of the day.

Day 3: Welded the stringers and frame solid and installed the floor.
