I'm hearing reports the Snows are already in Southern Illinois. Makes me worried. When will the juvies be in Mound City. Don't want to be a day late and a dollar short.

And it begins...... This happens almost every year. People start saying there going to be so and so 2 weeks early, and then something happens that makes the migration get back on schedule. Certain parts might get a few days ahead here and there but for the most part its pretty predictable year in and year out.

Saw mallards and specks going north in SW MO yesterday, so some are feeling the urge with the spring weather down here.

However, I agree with above, it will all balance out as always.

Got a text Friday about the leading edge pushing North. :l Season doesn't start for about 3 weeks, they'll be somewhere at that time and I'll go from there.

Agree, but frustrating while hunting snows this past week in NEA seeing them go north instead of staying put in the usual areas.

Let'em go. I hope every damn adult bird is long gone by the end of March so they are not around to influence the young birds. Yes, missing the leading edge is a GREAT thing. They will only fluster you over am over and over again. Majority of killable birds will start end of February and run through Mid March in our neck of the woods (NW Missouri). Weather will somewhat dictate but year in and year out the timing changes very little!!!!

    Good luck

Nwmo has huntable numbers but they are hanging around some of the groups have a good number of juvies in them where others seem to be all adults weve been picking away at them the past few days
