Hunting near Rogersville is pretty crappy! Too many boats on the river and not enough ducks!! Jan. Is always the best for E. TN!

Hunted the last 2 days in the tri cities. Killed a few geese, 2 woodies, and 2 mallards. Times are tough. Seems like only residents around

Hey guys! I have just moved down to Lenoir City and am trying to do some planning for duck hunting this fall/winter. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to hunt? Also I am looking for some buddies to go hunting with since I am new to the area and hunting by yourself isn't as much fun. I have some decoys and a boat and am willing to chip in for gas or anything else.

Forget the ducks and go to the clinch river and catch some big browns and rainbows

Afraid the Clinch isn't what it used to be for those nice upper slot rainbows. To many extended minimum flow days of 11 hours in heat of summer and a significant drop in the sulphur mayfly population from an undiagnosed cause have greatly reduced the productivity in the river. Wish it were not so

Yeah I can definitely be down there! I haven't hunted that area before but I've heard it can be pretty good.
