    yes sir.... they were introducing the Wicked Box Call, made by my good friend Marlin Watkins... Marlin hunts turkey trot in the fall and spring... tell you something.

    I watched it. That looked like a cool hunt. Never messed with turkeys much in the fall, usually after deer and ducks then

    WHY in the name of Pete would you head North to hunt Easterns??? Alabama/Auburn University did more to restore the Turkey population nationwide than anyone....and WE GOT THEM!!

    With that being said why leave Va to shoot an eastern ? Plenty in this state easily doable on public land

    Easily doable??? Hmmm. Pretty sure Skimmerhorn reads enough of the Vaturkey.com site to know that "easily doable" really isn't a fair or accurate assessment of the Va public land hunting.

    I can kill birds in va, I have private and know public. I just want to go out of state somewhere to try something different. Plus will try to make a vacation out of it and take my wife and son. Imo just easier with a guide out of state since I won't be able to scout ahead of time
