I used to hunt a blind on one of the South Hayward Cargill ponds.

I put out a spread of over 100 decoys.

15 minutes from my front door to the gate, another couple minutes to the parking area, across a slough on a makeshift 2X6 crossing, then a canoe paddle out into the middle of the pond, slide the canoe into the hide, step up into the blind and ready to shoot.

That's about where the story ends.

I couldn't bring myself to shoot buffies, goldeneyes and bluebills but that was all that would come in.

A spoony was a trophy bird out there.

I'm pretty sure I shot less than 10 birds all season out there.

Never went back even after the state bought it and opened it up for hunting.

The mud will kill you......... never venture into the ponds without a boat.

Are you kidding? SFC Nuts is retard...I mean retired.

He hasn’t even begun to defile the World Wide Web with his combat infantry zippo. Pretty sure his disability is an inability to keep his mouth shut.

If I knew where BDGs blackerry bushes were , so would you...

You'll have to forgive him, OpSec is lost on legs, they apparently didn't cover it in AIT, PLDC, BNOC OR ANOC... or maybe they did but being a Leg he was too busy crunching on crayons to pay attention.

    This is the best!

**** I wish I had CIB zippo. Your wrong about that one brother if the VA had ratings for that I would be 100% T&P!! Actually its for Vertebral fracture,Spinal Stinosis, and spinal fusion. With secondary's for paralysis and neuritis, that last IED got me good.

Anyways chief my service dog did well these last two days. Got all of pedros coots yesterday and the birds today. He was a little hesitant going in the salt water at first.

Not worried about opsec its all public land brotha. I do like the pldc reference! That's old army right along with ironing your uniform and spit shining your boots. Goddamn Joe's have so much free time on their hands now, just wake up and go. Also I thought the crayon thing was for marines.
