Just a quick question. Is this place huntable without a boat? Thanks.
Delta lies...you're better off staying in Lubbock.
Yes, if you can handle waist deep mud
Desert Swarm of Mosquito's!!!
We've been thinking about this for a couple of years. The Delta article just made me remember. I was gonna go over there and check it out after my goose hunt last March, but never made it down.
Anyway, it looks like we're gonna have some huntable playas out here this year, so you're more than likely right about staying around home.
That's kind of what I was thinking.
Looks like we will be hunting the lake late season with new BBSB and several friends with the right gear and layout boats, should be fun chasing the boys in the air boat.

Ponder on this. Imagine what is stated above and everyone else reads this article and whom ever they pass along the great news too.
I can guarantee you there are places filled with ducks closer to you!
As much rain we have had in this state and adjcent states. Ducks will be spread out more. This is coming from a guy that has traveled already.
Sure glad I just picked up my Dragonfly Airboat to scoot across the waters to beat any crowd at any place.
Waking up at 1 a.m. to claim a spot will be fun.
Sounds like a piece of cake. I'm used to chest to neck deep mud
