European mount

    Not being a smartarse, but there are lots of youtube videos out there showing different techniques. That's what I did. Turned out pretty good I think.

    I had a guy do one for me in WI by my cabin. He has beetles that eat it clean. Turned out great. But when I went to pick it up and saw the size of some of the other mounts - I was a bit embarrassed.... I had a little MN Buck.

    Simple as pie. I filled my turkey fryer with water up to the base of the antlers. Turned fire up to a low simmer for 6 hrs. Let cool overnight and everything literally slid right.off clean as a whistle. Dry for two days and han on the wall.

    Yessir, thats true. Honestly, he showed the least potential of all the bucks on my place. I considered him a management buck. The other bucks in his age class all display split tines, drops, etc and will be outstanding next couple yrs.
