f2.8 vs f4.0 lenses for astrophotography

    I did see that but maybe I'm not reading the info right as my understanding of the chip is just so your dslr body will show a "light" for when the lense is in focus when you manual focus. :confused:

    But maybe I'm misunderstanding what the focus chip means.

    Read some more reviews on the 35mm f1.8 today and will have to look more into the focus chip info as the price is nicer on the Rokinon.

    That's correct about the chip, it's not AF. If you get the Rokinon, just make sure to download the lens profile for it to correct the "moustache" distortion.
