Now that they have come back out with the Xlandrs who has either seen them or bought a new one? How was the quality compared to the older style?

I'm waiting till winter, but I'll eventually be buying 2 if the fall reviews are good.

I got my new one last week. Had the first one since it first came out and was still using it last season. Loved that blind and I no doubt will love this one. Seems a little better built than the original. They also come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Maybe you just got one that wasn't up to snuff. I had one and it was a great blind. I can't remember seeing a negative review on them although I'm sure there may have been a few.
Define what you mean by "cheap junk".

The stubble loops to big, material to light duty shredded after one season the frame seemed loose and not sturdy. Did not like how the bottom wasnt re enforced. Mind you we hunt 20ish plus days a year in the blinds. Huge fan of the original xlander l. X2 just seemed like junk compared to it

I've got several of the originals that I might could be talked into parting with.

This is intetesting....I just contacted Primos/FA directly regarding questions on the new X-Landr. The representative on the phone seemed very on top of what was going on and told me that none of the dealers have these yet and that it would be closer to the end of the year before they were available to purchase. She verified that they are the same exact set up as the old ones, but with a better, more durable fabric.

Cabelas have them listed. I just ordered one. I'll find out in a few days.
