Winchester Model 59 semi-auto with the fiberglass barrel
Fox Sterlingworth's in 20 and 16ga, nod to the sixteen.
Pump Action: Benelli Nova, 24" bbl
Auto: SBE 24" bbl
O/U: Red Label!! in 20 guage
The Benelli SBE is hard to beat as the most universal gun. OK for upland, great for waterfow.
Let's start in the Browning family with A-5 20ga, then a little Citori action: 12 or 20; then for the quackers Benelli Nova.
I use an Ithaca M37 for everything . 2.75" 12 ga. It was my fathers gun that he purchased in 1966 . The weird thing is , the older the gun gets the better it shoots .
20ga Benelli Montefeltro. Pleases me so much that it often benches my SBE for waterfowling, too. But I don't hate the notion that I may someday be even more tickled with something else.
nova... and thats final
I carry a remington 1100 DU edition with a straight stock for upland. Its 2 3/4 in 12 gauge. My main duck gun is a mag 12 Browning A-5. I sometimes pull my granddad's ol' double twelve out as well. Its a "Davis". Basically a hardware store type gun, but it has very nice lines. My dream gun for uplands is a 16 gauge FAIR Rizzini O/U, straight stock, double triggers. It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine!
