Favorite fish to catch??

    I'll take a brown trout or steelhead throught the ice any day.... But My favorite bite to fish is Crappies through the ice.

    Toss up between surfcasting for big saltwater stripers on the east end of Long Island or fly fishing for native brook trout in the adirondacks, not very big but the nicest coloration of any fish I've ever seen.

    i fish the Raratan a couple times a year, fluke,striper and tog. Didn't do so well dropping eels this year, sandy really put a hurting on the structure.

    Tough call between chinook (king) salmon or sturgeon.
