My Elk and my brother's muzzleloader mule deer for those that are also into big game hunting. some might wonder why I like the Bull picture so much. I guess it's because it just seems a little everywhere. kind of pandemonium in the picture and it just sums up how that hunt went.

Just a few of the fun times this season!! For me here in southern Idaho this had to be the best season we have had in the past 15-20 years. Anyway hope that you enjoy. Be safe in the off season and look forward to seeing pictures thoughout the year.

And I know this isn't hunting, but it was my first sturgeon during the summer.

Can we just make this a sticky and change the name to favorite picture? who cares whether it is fishing hunting or just something cool you saw out hiking?

A decoy that paid the ultimate price:

My daughter's first fly rod fish, a 12-lb blue shark!

An 8' hammerhead cruising by the boat. Daughter got the shot by sticking my waterproof camera under the surface:

Also caught an awesome 50-lb. Mako shark. Wish I had a shot of that, but my daughter was seasick!

and a Heron perched on my cataraft in May:

I don't know my herons real well, but Paul thinks it's a Black-crowned night Heron.
