December has been interesting.......so far. The weather forecast for the next fourteen days is
unusual.......no snow. We've only had three "dustings" that were gone the next day and there is zero
frozen ground. However, today begins a stretch that will be a lot colder than the previous few weeks.
The cold with no snow does not seem to bother a dog when training......me?......I will be bothered. :h

Obviously, there will be others farther north of northern Illinois, but where do you draw the line (concerning
temperature) when winter training (land only of course)? Wind does enter into the equation.

For me, never. Have trained in -10 degrees with no wind and sun. It was quite comfortable.

What kind of training setups would you recommend for when it is that cold?
