finding shot

    Anyone out there have some good ideas for finding, and removing, shot from their birds? I do my best, but inevitably miss one and there goes anther tooth!!

    After two busted teeth, I have gone to a wand for shot detection.

    Get a big cow magnet. A couple bucks at at the feed store.

    Any tool that will work for Lead? Pheasants and pigeons seem to always have some in it. I get a couple in my turkey to.

    Most people don't care about lead, since it won't crack your teeth like steel will.

    its a game in my house. if the waterfowl you bite into has shot in it you yell "quack, quack". Its like you are the nightly winner. I don't know why but the kids love it. I kind of like it too. Nobody has lost a tooth yet.
