I'm sure this question has been asked before, but just started to hunt geese. Looking for a layout blind that is comfortable-durable-waterproof floor-and folds up. Several sales going on right now, and might can catch a good deal. This will be a new style of hunting for me. Thanks for the help! fireduck ( Kenny)

Kenny, there are allot of choices out now and to say one is so much superior than the other would be difficult. I've had experience with two. 1st was an Xlander that I used for many years and was pleased with it (no longer made). I didn't care for the doors though, there was no frame in them and the wind would blow them open if you weren't holding on to them. 2nd is the Avery Finisher that I use now. It is very roomy, relatively easy to put together and comfortable. It has several height adjustments for you to set up like you want and the bottom is waterproof. It does fold up in a tidy package and has a shoulder strap for carrying.
It would be great to find a store where they offer several different brands for comparison but I never found one. I bought mine on sale 2 years ago and paid around $200. Whichever one you purchase, be sure to mud it up good and grass it with the colors of where you will be hunting mostly. I used several different colors of Avery Killer Weed.

Bought several of the tanglefree deadzone blinds this year. Roomy, a little lower profile, and they come with a snow cover. So far so good.
