There's a buddy of mine from work that goes to Canada every year on a fly-in camp, and does fantastic every year. He told me that if I get a chance to go to Canada, that I should do it now before I get married and have some kids. He says if you're a die-hard fisherman(that I am) then you should treat yourself with a Canadian trip.

I would love to do a musky/walleye/lake trout fishing trip this coming year. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a great place to check out. I'll be mostly keying in on musky so the biggest prerequisite would be for it to have a decent population of muskies and some trophy potential. I've been tossing around the idea of going to Eagle Lake, Ontario or Lake of the Woods. The only problem with Lake of the Woods is that I believe that this spot has probably as much fishing pressure as some Wisconsin lakes. I also wouldn't mind trying Lake Vermilion also.

So does anyone have any suggestions of a good spot to check out?

    catch ya later,
