    Good stuff. Nice job on the bufflehead and absolutely killer shot of the waxwing about to swallow the berry. Have to ask, is that mulberries the waxwing is eating?

    Thanks! Yes those are Mulberries. My neighbor has a tree right behind me. Once the berries are gone the Cedar waxwings are soon to follow!

    Love the cedar waxwing pics.

    Only bad part about mulberry trees is having them in your yard! Grew up with one in the yard. Bird crap everywhere around it and it was hell on vehicle paint.

    I have to keep up on the bird crap this time of the year! The deck and siding can be tough to keep clean!

    Tom...Those are some nice shots. I really like the waxwing about to swallow the berries, and the shot of the buffleheads really shows the beautiful colors of the drake.
