I bought a 13' Four Rivers Marsh boat and just put on a 5.5hp honda Mud buddy long tail on it and took it out this weekend and was not impressed at all. I guess i should have known going from a HD45 to a 5.5hp was going to be slower. Well not for long!!!:dv Just order up some performace parts for it. Turns out that this 5.5 honda motor is a big hit in the go-karting industry and guys are getting anywhere up to 25hp to 38hp freaking crazy. I'll be sure to keep all you small marsh boat guys posted on the build and she what i can get this thing to do. I know i'm not right in the head i just like to go fast.

The place i ordered some parts from was called Affordable go karts. i found around 5 other websites that build up this motors. All i what to do is make it able to run the 9hp prop, one thing i have to be careful with is this boat is not meant to plane out so i have to try it out and see how it goes.
