This post got me to wondering:
Do any of you have fur that you wear? When I was in Alaska a few years back we walked around downtown Anchorage the last night we were there. They have a fur district that's pretty cool to see. I found a wolverine fur hat that I really liked but didn't buy it (but now wish I had). I've always wanted a nice coyote fur hat as well.

You gotta let your spirit animal free now and then.

I've always thought one of those mountain man hats out of something I trapped or hunted would be cool. I don't mean like a mad bomber type hat or something, I mean like this:

I do have a tanned coyote pelt hung up that I suppose could be used for this. I also have a dried beaver pelt that I trapped this fall, and I have a badger pelt as well. I don't think the badger is gonna cut it, I have a pretty good sized melon. In fitted hats I wear damn near a size 8. Never seen a size 8 but I try to get as close to it as I can (7 3/4, 7 5/8) and usually within a month or so of wearing it stretches out enough that it fits good.

Also in the freezer are 2 real good sized mink that I am thinking I could make mittens out of if I do it right.
