Just sitting here at work wishing it were duck season.
Thought I would share my gadwall trio I got done this last season.
Extremely happy with the way it turned out. I'm still building the barn board backdrop but I'm always stuck at work...
Two of them were shot on the second to last day of the season and the one was shot on the last day of our Wisconsin season.

    Fabulous wall decor.

I'm sure will keep your heart in the hunt thru the doldrums of many summers to come.

Gadwall are very under appreciated. They can be cagey and are graceful yet subtle in appearance.

    Good looking mount!

Dang nice mount. Definitely post a picture after you add the back board. Those are some studs. They might not be bright and colorful but their subtle beauty is one of my favorites.

I like to hunt Greenheads and Pintail best. But a nice group mount of Gadwall, Redheads, Cavnasbacks or Pintail are the most striking for mounts such as yours.

I have always thought gaddies make a cool mount, and dead mounts are my favorite for gaddies.

Unfortunately gagwall do not eat so good in our area, and are towards the bottom of the list of desired birds to shoot.
