    Now that's a twist on a possible fortuitous bounce. For the cereal peddlers that out come could indeed be lucrative. :l

    Look at this spot in context...

    First off it was created to run on youtube - not to be broadcast on any of the big three television networks. The media buy is minor. It's a social media online commercial. What demographic watches youtube videos and posts them on facebook? It ain't your parents.

    Next - even for a youtube video - GM would have tested this spot in storyboard stage before round, after round, after round, of focus groups... Driving the creatives at Saatchi & Saatchi crazy.... And then once shot and cut - tested this spot in edited variations in round, after round, after round, of even more focus groups...

    Could it end up airing on a cable channel - or during an episode of Ellen? Sure could - and I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

    Guess Who's Coming to Dinner - a movie about interracial marriage - came out in Movie Theaters 46 years ago... The stink over this commercial is much ado about nothing...
