this is a good idea....I enjoy the Forums and the good folks who join in. Nice to know a little about them...

    Newton Cook
    Born 1940 in Memphis
First duck hunt with father and uncle on Reelfoot lake in 1955 from Gray's camp...rowed a couple of the Reelfoot boats (you row facing the front) breaking sheet ice for a mile to the "firing line" next to the Refuge...shot my first duck...a "Black Jack" aka Ringer.
Gun...on my third Mossberg 500....retired one to deer and turkey...gave the old one to a son years ago. Sold all my fancy semi auto guns after the ice and mud stuck them up.
Ohio from 1969 to 1996 mostly as sales and marketing manager...international and commercial sales in construction products
Florida from 1997 till today...retired for several years
Still go back to my old log cabin in Ohio for deer and to west Tenn. to hunt ducks with my cousins in the Forked Deer River bottoms and a Miss. River bottom lake.
In Florida I hunt ducks on Loxahatchee Refuge, STAs and anywhere within a couple of hours of Tequesta here in Palm Beach County.
I don't think I have to say a lot about my work with UNITED WATERFOWLERS-FL to "Make duck hunting in Florida better for Florida duckhunters". I spend a number of days each month for UW-F.
I am blessed with a lovely wife, three sons, two granddaughters and a brand new this week grandson....

Thought it was "Hand Grabbin" in these parts? I bet the pig gave him a struggle coming out of the palmetters.
