Hey Fellas I'm gonna chime in here cause I'm more of a regular in this Forum than in the MN Flyway Forum.

Derek Bendell is my name, but Bender is a title that's been consistant since I was a mischevious Teen.

    Hometown: Plymouth/Minnetonka, MN
Florida Residence: North Ft. Myers(In-Laws live here year round. I just need a boat down here now...)
    Gun: Rusty 870
Bullets: I like to budget for the good stuff.
Calls: I make a few of my own noises to sound like a Duck, but I blow a Buck Gardner double reed Fowl Mouth to stack up Puddlers back home.
Dogs: 5 year old Chocolate, and 3 year old Yellow.
Boat: The Total Beast. 10' 6" Fiberglass Kayak/Skiff.
Occupation: Landscape Business(Working on changing Gears to a less Labor Intensive Career.)
Married: Yes happy as can be, but no bun in the oven or Kids yet.
Started Hunting Birds with Dad, Uncle, and Older Buddies where i grew up in ND back in the late 80's, early 90's.
Sports: The Minnesota Wild, but other than being a Hockey Player myself I only care about 1 Sport. Bird Hunting/Fowling.

Here's some pics from our MN Season this year. No Complaints.

Early Honkers. I called in a Crow, and we killed it too.

Nothing but Hand Calling for Crows this past Season...

Don't get Shot in the Face in your Vehicle while loading up for Crows. Shotgun Malfunction. You can see how it went off as the reciever closed. It's still stuck in that position with the Shell in it. The Company never responded to my Inquiries about the situation. Ouch all around...

I moved out of FL 9 years ago after spending my first 29 there. Haven't posted much in a while since I don't really hunt there much anymore except once a year when visiting family.

I really enjoy reading the posts though as they bring back a lot of special memories.

    Name: Brian
Hometown (originally Boynton Beach, Fl, now Green Lane, PA)
    Age: 38
    Married: Yes, 12 Years
    Gun: 1187
Occupation: Golf Pro for 15 years, now in banking
    Dog: no, but someday
Calls: Duck Commander original, Glynn Scobee goose call
    Shells: Fasteel, or Winchester
Boat: None at the moment :cry

    Teams: Dolphins, Canes
Started hunting with my dad at age 8. First duck: ringneck hen in area 1 at MI, set it on the table ath the check station next to a pile of pintails and widgeon prowd as could be :)

I certainly miss the Florida hunting (and fishing too) but I am quickly getting hooked on hunting geese and mallards here in PA.

    Best regards to all,
    Brian
