Does anyone know how these compare in size???? Question also holds true for the two brands of redhead and bluebills.

The avians are slightly smaller. By slightly, I mean you can barely tell the difference in size when they are side by side.

Why in the world both of them didn't make them oversize is beyond me! Should be for the price they charge!

I'm sorry, I thought you meant the over sized ghg cans. They are the same size as the oversized ghg's.

I don't have any of the canvasbacks but have a couple GHG oversize redheads and a bunch of Avian X redheads and they are about the same size. I was glad to see that the Avian were as big as they are, reading reviews I thought they were going to be smaller.

Smart move by Avian x. They are slightly better looking and I bet most prefer the oversize. I hope they make oversize ringers just as nice.

I've got a wide array of Avians, including the divers. These Avian divers seem oversize magnums to me, and more in line with the old GHG cans & redheads that are sold drakes only. I had some of each----painted half into hens, then sold them off when the Avians came out last summer. Avians are far better than the older GHG divers, IMO. I can't speak about their new pro grades.
