There's something just wrong about that!
When I moved south from Michigan to Florida in '69, there were few A/C's and it was an expensive option in cars. My father worked in the business for many years. Eventually room and central home A/C's became more available and affordable. One can chart the extension of A/C sales to regions that needed them as an impetus to internal migrations and to those that never had them as partial evidence of warming. One can adapt to conditions- I drove cars without A/C from high school through college. It might be impossible to find a car without A/C these days. My work truck has one- even works- but I have roll up windows. Ice is nice.
Better wear sunscreen, even indoors!
Well you could at this place,
My wife grew up in Bartow, FL . It's funny to hear them talking about how air conditioning has ruined Fla because most of the newcomers (aka non natives) wouldn't be there without it.
Something tells me the Cubans don't need A/C.
