Thinking of putting on a leveling kit. First, any suggestions on type and secondly, how big of a tire can I get under there...on 17 in. Wheels?

I have the Rough Country 2" level on my 2011 Silverado. I havethe 285/65/18 on with no rubbing. Could have done the 275/70 but they were out of stock. Love the look.

285/70/17 will fit fine with the leveling kit. I've been running Nitto Terra Grapplers in that size on my 2009 since it was new.

Thanks for the replies....Now I am actually looking forward to having my existing tires wear out so I can do this thing:D

I can't justify changing out perfectly good tires....

Just go ahead and do it...hock the old ones on CL...people sell tires all the time on there. Why not get a few bucks out of them now rather than wear them down and get zero bucks when they get thrown away? :reader
