Good seed to soil contact

    Shaft swings back and forth at a high rate throwing the seed.

    Thanks! I'll check that out. I use a Woods PSS72 seeder. I call it my poor man's drill. It does a great job of delivering consistent seeding rates and is easy to calibrate, but it does not offer much control over seeding depth. Small seeds that need rates higher than what can be achieved using the legume box tend to get planted too deep (like millet).

    It has a built in culti-packer, but I usually go back over it with a real culti-packer if I have time.
