goose loads

    What loads you guys like to shoot for late season honkers. alittle extra power is needed in late season due to the weather and the wariness of the birds. do you guys switch from what you use in the earlier part of the season to the late in terms of loads or do you just stay with the same loads.

    I stay with the same loads, 3" #2's. The reason is I only shoot if they have thier feet down hovering above the decoys:tu

    kent faststeel 3.5" 2 shot all season. My average shot is 40yds or less while they're backwinging on top of the decoys.

    I only shoot kent 3inch bb at every thing.

    i usually shoot bb's in the early season, but when the geese stop comin right in to the decoys i usually switch to t's. it works for me:tu
