Can someone help me ID this grass? I have a ton of it growing in one of my ponds and want to know if I should spray it or let it get going? I'm not sure if its some type of millet or not.

    Thanks

Looks like a type of Bahia grass to me. Prolific seed producer, I'm sure ducks would find it to their liking but it's a beoch to manage and can grow very thick.

I have seen bahia grass so thick a heavy duty 15' disk could not cut through it. Took Habitat/Arsenal to truly kill it. Roundup just burned it back for a few weeks.
