Had plans to attend until I was told I have a wedding in Reno to go to Saturday. I spoke with someone today who said the AP's are already set in stone and nothing will change the process. Like ive said, I never heard of any fighting or anything in the areas that were turned into AP's, would like to know what brought this on. Someone please give a break down of the meeting when its done, or feel free to PM me details so I have something to read while the lucky couple says their vows.

I will be out of town also, otherwise would like to attend. DuckFan could you (or someone else) inquire about the status of the blown pump at Merced that floods 13, 14, and 15? Those blinds were never hunted last year since the pump needed replacing. We need to keep the Feds accountable since they don't do much to manage that place anymore. Maybe they could do something radical like plant watergrass too.

Was at the Meeting, Kevin and a few others from the fuge also attended.

I know Kevin will post up in a day or so, but let me answer your question. The issue isn't just a blown pump. Its that the well itself collapsed. This ai big dollar ticket item to re drill a new well, case it etc, and make it ready for a pump. Cost is estimated at $250,000! It has been requested but it goes on a list of other priorities and may take a while to get approved and completed. Certainly not for this season.

Not the answer we all want, but I do understand the complexity and costs associated with this.

Because they know they have lost blinds 13, 14 and 15 to this issue, they are going to replace that lost hunter opportunity with 3 new blinds (7A, 7B and 9A).

7A will be between 6 and 7 with 7B to the north of 7A. 9A will be east of Goose pit A. Once they get the flood up maps online, you will be able to see the arrangement.

    Maps should be up soon.

We all should thank staff for adding these spots, since did not want us to loose opportunity.
