As of a few years ago, I know they've pretty much took over Joice island. The island is badly overgrown and brushy. Not much in the way of open space. Back in the 70's/80's it was a premier duck hunting area. If you were in the first 20 guys at Grizzly Island Refuge you had the option of hunting Joice island, which was only open Sundays after about mid-season, but the pigs have taken over. Used to hear guys say they didn't like moving around in the dark (for ducks) for fear of getting harassed by pigs. Don't know anyone who has hunted it for pigs.
