    oh, but i do..

but you are wrong on the use of the above logic.
my logic, bird numbers are low, reduce PRESSURE. numbers are dengerously high, PRESSURE them till they can no longer succesfully reproduce along with killing as many as possible.

as for the mallard part, thats just plain silly.:yes comparing a snow to a mallard. :joker thats whey they have differant sets of rules

hate to say it but we who jump the right way are better conservationist than you purist.

chasing birds w/ a club lol.. lets look at that, and anyone who uses a club, please make your self known.. i dont see anything wrong w/ it, just seems way to ineffective..

if im close enough to club, i grab. a bird that is hit lightly enough for it to run, well thats why i carry a box of crip shells.

have you ever tryed to swing a club 1 handed?? your gun should be in the other. if you think "well, i could just sling it over my shoulder and use 2 hands" i would like you to sling your gun and go outside and practice this.. than tell me how many stiches you had to have to close up that nasty gash casued by you gun poping you in the back of the head.

My bad. I thought the government was "us".

So now hunters get the black eye?

    OK.

No, its about reducing the population with out direct action form the government.

a dirct action by them would undoubtedly damage the public image of ALL waterfowlers, if not all hunters.

Thought it was kind of obvious.

Would the points I'm making carry any more or less water depending upon whether I was a hunter?

Yea, comparing a duck to a goose is just plain ol' silly.

As to your purist comment, Maybe you missed my comment on an earlier post:

"I personally don't care either way. Jumpers keep the birds moving, the spring season is about killing. However, I can also clearly understand those who object."

You ground swatters sure are a defensive lot.

The guys I hunted with who were using them seemed quite adept at dispatching cripples with them.

Maybe they went to a class or something.
