    1. The GT reverse is better than a reg. outboard. It does great and you can watch some YouTube videos to see.

    2. MB worst customer service, GT best customer service.

    3. A new GTR35 with stage 2 mods should be around $10K

    4. I wish everybody that I would come in contact with would buy a regular outboard or a MB. Only helps me out:dv

So basically stage 2 mods add roughly 3k? You know about a stage 1? The mods worth it or best to stay stock. I'm wanting reliability.

Stage one from Hoyt (GT) is around 2K and not every Stage represent the same mods between builders.

The weak link that is most commonly address is the leaky valves, so swapping them out for 1 piece stainless is usually priority.

Now them leaky valves are a problem regardless of brand eh? Don't they all use the same Briggs engine?

Yes, it's a Briggs issue as is the leaky case gaskets.

I'm a mud buddy man myself started out years ago with a 27 long tail and then got a 35 sport hyperdrive with stainless duels and a single Mikuni. Pushes my 16 52 seaark DK with beaver tail pods at 31 to 33 mph. Customer service is great sometimes you call and talk directly to the owner glen Forman . Mud buddy is the only mud motor that uses mercury parts such as the tilt and trim. Seems like to me mud buddy is a step ahead of the competition
